I was talking to my watchmaker today about the very subject of quartz accuracy. He is certified by Rolex and many other companies as well. The Rolex quartz it seems is even more accurate than that...I will double check but I think he said their specs are 1 second in 6 months. Don't quote me but I think that is what he said. Now that is accurate. Also their quartz movement is quite a bit more finished and sophisticated than the contract movement the other guys use. It is completely in house. Now if they would put it in a few interesting models...we could all have more fun!!!!
